Get a library card

How to get a card

A valid picture identification (ID) with proof of current address is required to get a library card for adults. If your photo ID does not include a current address, you may use a photo ID combined with a bill sent through the mail or insurance card showing your current address.

High School students may stop by the library with their high school picture ID to receive their library card.

Younger children should be accompanied by a parent/guardian with their own current High Plains Library District card (or materials as listed above to qualify for one) during their request.
